The original one made a huge difference in the kitchen--anything stored in containers was labeled, and the (optional) automatic date stamp makes it easy to keep track of leftovers. Now, I'm using it to organize cabinets and closets as well. Since it prints vertically as well as horizontally, it's easy to label odd spaces.
